Marketing Tips and Tricks

Going viral vs Consistent growth

Going viral doesn’t necessarily mean that those followers are your customers or community. Nurturing your following and growing slowly but consistently translates to stronger bonds between your followers and those followers are going to be “warmer” and more engaged compared to those who follow you based on one viral video.

Quality vs Quantity

Consistency is key! If you can post good content that is valuable to your audience then do it! But don’t post something just to tick that box.

The aim is to create the best possible content for your audience and for your business with purpose behind it. In the best case scenario that would be everyday but if it is only realistic for you and your business to post 3 times a week then that is okay - it is just important to make sure the content has purpose and value.

Tips

Think about what content you enjoy consuming and think about why you enjoy it

Look at accounts that you enjoy and study them - don’t copy but take inspiration

Make sure you have your content pillars nailed down.

Think about the following questions - why do you want to grow? what do you want to talk about? who are you speaking to?
