Elisa Lune’s Skincare Recommendations
Skincare is good but it means nothing if you're not adding movement into your skincare routine
Gua Sha - Movement is the only way to give your skin a natural glow. Elisa recommended to Gua Sha your full face and neck once a week and then in between just focus on the neck as the neck is where the toxins will leave your body and so it is important to stimulate that area in order to activate the lymphatic system
Celtic Salt - Elisa recommends taking celtic salt before drinking a glass of water. Celtic salt is good as it is higher in minerals
Eating seasonally - This ensures that you are eating the vegetables with the highest amount of nutrients which will contribute to glowing skin
Chemicals to avoid - parabens, silicone and phenoxyethanol - check your products for these ingredients
Water - Drink lots and lots and lots of water! This will help to flush out any toxins and also hydrate you
Infrared Light - A red light is great for minimising pores and for improving the texture of your skin
Facial Dry Brushing - Some exfoliators are too rough and can damage the skin barrier. Instead Elisa recommends a facial dry brush, this also stimulates the blood flow to your face and you can do this in the morning before you cleanse the skin.
How to prevent pollution sitting on your skin - Use a mist which has anti-oxidants in it in order to prevent the pollution affecting your skin. Add a toner after you’ve cleansed in order to remove the hard water
Recommended skincare and products: (add red light mask and facial brushing tool)
